Our Journey: From Sweetie Corner to Aeryn's Our story began long before 2013, rooted in my mom's entrepreneurial spirit. As a true businesswoman, she ran an Avon store and set up “Aeryn's Sweetie Corner” in one corner of the shop, where I sold snacks and treats as a child. In 2013, we officially registered the business as “Aeryn's,” and our journey truly took off. My mom baked for her colleagues and classmates in hotel school, while my dad championed the business, spreading the word to anyone who would listen about the amazing baked goods and catering services we offered.

From 2014 to 2019, Aeryn's was all about catering and wholesaling. We opened our first bakery in Dutch Fort, Scarborough, and later moved to Port Mall in 2018, where we stayed for about a year before closing in late 2019. During this period, we supplied donuts to many popular bakeries, supermarkets, and small businesses, becoming a trusted wholesale provider. Our motto at the time was, 'If it can go into an oven, we can make it,' and we offered everything from pastries to breads and cakes. In 2020, like many businesses, we faced challenges due to COVID-19 and were closed for nearly two years. In November 2022, we reopened our last bakery in Hampden Lowlands, but by late 2023, we made the bold decision to close our physical location and transition into a fully online store.

A New Chapter and Focus on Donuts In November 2024, I fully took over and rebranded the business to better suit my vision and passion. Focusing on what has always been our best-seller, donuts, I decided to niche down and specialize in crafting unique and innovative flavors. With the rebrand, we transitioned to a fully online model, allowing us to streamline our offerings and connect more directly with customers. Aeryn's is now dedicated to delivering the best donuts while continuing to offer top-notch catering services. My family is still close by, offering support on the sidelines whenever needed and I'm excited to see how far we can go as we grow and share our delicious creations with the world.
